Why therapy?
Seeking help when we feel stuck, hopeless or alone is a big step, which takes courage and finding the right person to work with.
Therapy is for you if you are in a difficult period in your life, experiencing a particular challenge or if you want to explore your meaning and purpose.
As your therapist, I offer a caring, empowering space free of judgement and “shoulds”.
Through our work together you will:
- understand how your mindsets and beliefs might be limiting you.
- get in touch with your unique purpose, meaning and values.
- work through old patterns and coping mechanism and be able to take steps to live differently.
- listen to your mind, body and emotions to shape your decisions in a way that is unique to you.
- be comfortable asking big questions of life, around who you are, what your needs and desires are and how to live authentically.
- understand the root causes of your symptoms, how your nervous system and attachment patterns are shaping those symptoms and how to let go of survival mechanisms.
Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.
